After more than thirty one years in the Benpres Building, the Lopez Museum and Library along with the Roberto M. Lopez Conservation Center, will be moving to its new home in Makati.
It was in April of 1986 that the Lopez Museum and Library found its new home in Pasig City. From its original home in the Lancaster Building in Pasay, the institution and its collection moved to the ground floor of the Benpres Building continuing on the vision of its founder. Since then, the institution has hosted numerous exhibitions highlighting both the visual arts and its Filipiniana library collection, bringing together historical contexts with contemporary art and issues.
The Lopez Museum and Library would like to thank all those who have supported its endeavors in the past decades. In preparation for the relocation, the museum galleries will now be closed to the public. However, the library will continue its operations until next year. Please await further announcements.
