Lopez Museum & Library invites all film lovers and enthusiasts to TRENTA: Young Independent Cinema, an afternoon screening of short films on November 27, Thursday, from 10AM -5PM. TRENTA brings together shorts created by student film organizations, budding and the more established filmmakers. With each film running for 30 minute or less, 30 shorts have been compiled for the showcase.
Aside from individual works by members of Tito and Tita collective (John Torres, Shireen Seno, Pam Miras, Miko Reveraza, Raya Martin, Gym Lumbera and Mikey Red); student submissions will be shown along with shorts by Kevin Dayrit, Anj Macalanda, and Ralph Quijano. The lineup is further augmented by select entries from last year’s CineKasimanwa: The Western Visayas Film Festival.
The screening is free of charge. Gourmet Farms Inc. will serve freshly brewed coffee at the museum’s temporary coffee shop (Reading Lab), the entire afternoon.
