P144-million painting graces mainstream casual wear.

Art historian Santiago Pilar was happy to be attending the unveiling of Freeway’s latest National Artists Collector’s Series last October.

Pilar, a professor at University of the Philippines Diliman, praised the local fashion brand for coming up with a campaign that effectively reintroduces Filipino art and history to new generation.

Held at the Lopez Memorial Museum in Pasig City, Freeway launched its first ever historical collection in a fashion show that featured the most popular artworks of legendary Filipino painter Juan Luna.
