Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November

The Guy Fawkes mask: now a meme for every Fifth of November, it started from a page in England’s history with the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605, to the seminal comic book V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd (1982-1989), its popular movie adaptation (2005), from where came the present-day mask worn in the name of freedom and protest worldwide.
