American Documentary: Forgotten Soldiers, In Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Fall of Bataan

In commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Fall of Bataan, the Lopez Memorial Museum and Library and the Ortigas Foundation Library invite you to the premiere of the American documentary Forgotten Soldiers.

Trailer: http://www.ww2scouts.com/trailer.html

Forgotten Soldiers contains vintage footage of the Philippine Scouts, interviews with surviving veterans and retells the little known fact that the combined Scouts and American resistance, lasting five months, to Japanese military advances, resulted in the aborting of a planned invasion of Australia.

In addition, the Lopez Museum houses paintings by 19th century Philippine masters including Juan Luna and Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo. Both libraries are open to researchers and the general public and each conduct regular lectures and workshops.
