Evidence that word about the Lopez Memorial Museum is spreading is the new set of visitors the museum had for the first week of September. The Ambassador of the Netherlands, accompanied by Ms. Sheila Nicolas of the Pasig Museum, visited the museum last September 2. He was particularly interested in the Coordinates exhibition.

Hearing about Book Matters’ creative writing workshop, Mr Joseph Alcantara of Don Bosco Canlubang arranged to have a creative writing workshop with Ms Carla Pacis in the Lopez Museum. 13 college students enrolled in a creative writing subject took part in the workshop.

As a result of Book Matters, the Lopez Museum partnered with the National Book Development Board for the latter’s Book Club Session. Last September 5, “Cory: An Intimate Portrait” edited by Margie Juico was the subject of the Book Club session held at the Lopez Library.

Also, a throng of Montessori students dropped by and viewed the exhibition and an animated discourse ensued with the docents.
